Allagash Brewing Company celebrates Family-Style Friendsgiving Dinner at the Partisan
Monday, November 16, Allagash Brewing Company is throwing a big shebang to mark a decade of brewing wild and sour beers. The family-style “Friendsgiving” dinner will be held at The Partisan and the dinner features rare Allagash beer flights, with a portion of proceeds benefitting Arcadia Sustainable Food and Agriculture. “We brewed Interlude for the first time in 2005, and it was our first wild beer,” said Allagash founder Rob Tod. So join him for an intimate, family-style meal to share good times and for a good cause. The price is $60 per person and reservations can be made by calling 202-524-5322.

Masseria to Host Cigar and Portuguese Wine Dinner
Well, he’s doing it again, Masseria's chef and owner, Nick Stefanelli is hosting another cool event — a wine and cigar dinner on Wednesday, November 4 at 6:30 p.m. Guests will begin the evening with heavy canapés and move into 3 savory courses and the entire’ evening’s menu will be paired with exceptional wines from Quinta Dona Matilde in the Douro region of Portugal. Dona Matilde is one of the Porto region’s oldest and most famous properties and it produces renowned DOC Douro wines and Portos. The menu includes haute offerings such as sweet breads with fennel, green tomatoes, cherry peppers, and fennel pollen with Touriga Nacional blend suckling pig prepared with Sicilian spiced couscous and Colheita Porto 1962. The price per person is $225 plus tax and gratuity, and space is limited to just 12 seats for the dinner under the pergola and retractable roof. Reserve by 202-608-1330.

Shop Local at DC Brau’s Annual Made In DC Holiday Marketplace
Outdoor brand, REI, is encouraging everyone to get outside on Small Biz Saturday, November 28, and head over to DC Brau Brewing Co.’s annual Made In DC Holiday Marketplace. The market runs from 1 to 7 p.m. So far, 15 vendors are participating, but new ones are being added daily. Here’s the current list:
