Recipe flavored salts of of 21-12-2015 [Updated on 19-01-2017]

Here is my latest gift idea for this year: very special flavored salts, very elegant, to give a refined thought to your loved ones! I chose three different flavors, one with pink pepper for the meat, one with orange and ginger for the fish and one with herbs for the vegetable dishes, but in reality the latter works well as a joker. With a negligible expense, you will give something really special and useful to your loved ones, just find some cute glass containers and that's it. Since we are now running out, maybe you are looking for last minute gift ideas, so I leave you the link where you will find a gallery with all the gastronomic gifts I have made, I leave you a basin and I wish you a sweet afternoon: *
PS: I also leave you the link to the video I made making these very special flavored salts, in case it might be useful;)

Method

How to make flavored salts

Let's start by preparing the orange salt, perfect for fish and, if you like, also excellent with meat and salads.
Wash and dry the orange and remove the peels.

Place the peels on the microwave plate covered with parchment paper and dry them at maximum power (15-20 seconds in 15-20 seconds, so as not to burn them), until they are very dry to the touch: it should take a maximum of 1 minute.

Once all the ingredients have been prepared, put them in the mixer and blend until you get a fine salt with an orange nuance, then fill the first jar.

Let's move on to the second salt, the one with herbs, perfect with potatoes and with all types of roasts, as well as with bruschetta.
Wash and dry the herbs and, again, dry them for a few seconds in the microwave (5 seconds in 5 seconds).
Blend everything in the mixer and fill the jar.

Finally, prepare the pink pepper salt, perfect for adding a touch of refinement to all your meat dishes or, why not, even with a nice steak of salmon!
Again, chop everything with the mixer and fill the jar.

Your fantastic flavored salts are ready, to keep in the pantry to use them at the first opportunity, or to give to friends and relatives!

FLAVORED SALT

flavored salt & # 8230adoro instead prepare roasts and the meat in general and especially when I make grilled meat which is usually one of those things you prepare when you don't have much time to cook (unless you decide to make a barbecue of course) I find myself spending hours chopping herbs, peeling garlic and prepare marinades. I decided once and for all to prepare the flavored salt and always keep it in a small jar close at hand and now when I prepare the miserable grilled slice it really looks like a king dish and it takes me a few minutes without dirtying anything.
And now…
Well, fasten your apron…!

They exist on the market many flavored salts, but if you have some time (it doesn't take much because it's a quick and easy process) you can try to make them at home. You can use them herbs (like rosemary), spices (chili pepper for example), citrus fruits (from lemon peel to tangerine peel) or all these things together. I know that salt is needed everywhere, but since it is not simple supermarket salt and it does not cost as much as that of the super, I would like to use it for something more particular and not to put it in pasta as usual.

Thanks for the recipe
pork tenderloin. I like it and I will keep it in mind, but I think you can use any type of salt .. while, if you read my post, it is specified that mine is a PAPRIKA flavored salt. if it had been simple pink salt, without aroma, I would have come to the fact that I could use it as a simple cooking salt. no offense, I will not be as good as you and as good as you are, but I also come to understand that in the kitchen salt is used almost in everything and therefore I can use it with meat, pasta, fish. I wrote because I kiedevo if anyone had ideas on purpose for this type of salt which, I repeat, is not only different in color or origin, but also in taste: it is spicy.

Calm
even better if it is flavored with paprika
you can do the same with the pork tenderloin with your salt.

You can also make marinated chicken breasts with lots of sweet paprika and spicy paprika oil (very little marinade must come double no liquid) salt, dried and finely ground herb mixes (which I make myself during the summer for the winter). mix everything well in a large bowl with a fork and put the chicken breasts to marinate in them (I cut the chicken breasts finer I don't like them so thick) leave them to marinate for 30min.-1 hour. and then cook them in a pan with a little oil accompanied by cooked vegetables, or french fries (as it happens also seasoned with salt and paprika) or salad.

If your salt is spicy flavored with.
spicy paprika, you can use it anywhere anyway where you want to have spicy food. I don't see what problems there are
I myself always create different types of salt flavored with herbs, both lemon and black pepper, then other salts still flavored with hot peppers I have large and full jars of various types of flavored salt of all tastes, and I use them for anything (except for pasta) but I always use them for meats, vegetables cooked in the oven, for fish and for dried legumes. There are NO specific recipes for doing a thing if you have the flavored salt of whatever spice it is.

Can't find your answer?

Paprika and pink salt
They go great on grilled meat, you put it towards the end of cooking.

Ps: it's useless, so you don't go out.

X the pink salt
I don't know how to help you
but I wanted to say hello we hadn't heard from each other yet for this 2012

Smihtt
thanks anyway for the advice but we did not understand each other. we are on two opposite directions. I am not so stupid to know ke there are no problems if I use a flavored salt, also, because if it were a problem to use it in the kitchen they would not produce so many varieties. as I have already told you, I consider myself, no offense to you, intelligent enough, to understand that if I season the pasta with this salt ke ho, nobody dies. I just wanted to know if there was any specific recipe, that's all. I have already answered you before (among other things thanking you for the pork recipe) that the type of answer you gave me did not fully respect my curiosity, it is useless for you to tell me that there is no problem.
maybe the question was not understood, maybe I don't know + how to write Italian .. boh. cmq I wanted to know there is someone ke has a specific recipe in which to use it qst salt? that is, is there any food that is cooked just with that. here is if one can answer me, I'm glad, otherwise I also accept a simple greeting as Tinker Bell did, but not discounted advice that makes me pass for a moron, since I do not consider myself as such ..
..and I hope with this I was clear. dear excuse me for the aggression, but it is useless that in every post you are always saying what you yourself do or prepare or prefer .. by now we know you, it is useless to repeat the same things over and over .. if we want to know and verify every time how much you're good, let's come and read your blog, there is no need to repeat it here in every answer!

Flavored salts - Recipes

Tonight I inaugurate my i-phone as a gadget to post: D
. to post another idea for Christmas gifts (which we continue to exchange practically until the Epiphany) and to wish everyone a Happy Holidays!

Here's a nice idea: aromatic salts.
Very easy and effective!
Very easy because it will be enough to mix the salt (I used coarse iodized sea salt) with spices and anything else that can help you enrich your dishes.

From left: with dried Provence herbs, vanilla, lemon peel and rosemary.

The procedure consists in mincing the smells, mixing them with the salt, and potting!

The combinations I have chosen are particularly suitable for fish and white meats :-)
Well. Good Christmas experiments in the kitchen!

Hello.
Beautiful ideas! But the salt is preserved. How ?
Mari

@ Mari: if you keep them I don't know. for me they are things that are either consumed quickly (after all, the quantity is not excessive) or are kept for beauty, and then whether they are preserved or not does not matter! certainly if closed hermetically they keep the aroma, with the cork put on the good I don't know. I'll try to ask someone if they still have any. at least give it a sniff of control!

The meat to choose

Lean, easy to digest and perfect for summer because of its lightness. There calf meat it is an unusual choice for a barbecue, but you will see that it will give you great satisfaction. Especially because once you have entered the vicious circle of summer barbecues, it will do us good to also eat meat that has a very low fat content. But not only that, the cuts of veal in addition to being low in fat are rich in proteins and vitamins.

What do we buy from the butcher then? From the loin (or loin) we get some nice chops, obviously we take the minced veal to make all the burgers we want, then add some tasty ribs and, you can't miss it, the sausage to skewer with a spit. From rump and rump we can obtain excellent strips and skewers of veal (here our best recipes), while the fillet is the precious touch, the meat that ennobles our entire grill.
