Zebra cake with nutella

Simple, easy to make, good-looking, sweet and fragrant, only good to eat! Served simply, or with a glass of milk, it will surely delight our taste buds…

It took

  • 500ml warm milk
  • 200g melted butter
  • 100g old
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 yolks
  • 2 sachets of vanilla sugar
  • Grated orange peel
  • 50g cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon free of rum
  • 1kg flour
  • 2 sachets of dry yeast

Nutella / finety Pt filling on top

  • 1 or
  • 1 tablespoon greasy sour cream

RECIPE PREPARATION Zebra cake with nutella:

Knead two doughs, one white and one brown. I put half of the amount in the bread machine, in which I put cocoa, and the other half, the white one, I kneaded by hand and all the dough rose at once.

I overturned the two doughs on the floured board, I divided each dough into four (obtaining 8 Bulgarians, 4 whites and 4 browns) and with the rolling pin I spread one by one forming rectangles. I greased them with nutella and I superimposed a white / a brown one and vice versa, a brown one over a white one. I twisted the obtained rolls two by two white / brown and put them in the tray lined with baking paper.

I let them grow for another 30 '. During this time, I turned on the oven and left it to heat, and the egg to grease on top, I beat it well with sour cream and a pinch of salt.

After 30 ', the dough doubled in volume and with a brush, I greased it well with the beaten egg, after which I baked it, over a moderate heat, for 50'.

I left it to cool, then I cut it into slices and served it. Delights!
