Chicken liver

Chicken liver

Peeled and chopped carrots are put in the robot, add the cleaned mushrooms, peppers and green onions and chop.

The chopped chicken breast is chopped, seasoned and mixed with a beaten egg. Over the chicken, add the chopped vegetables and mix. A cake tray is lined with baking paper (or not) and put ½ of the composition. Put boiled eggs, whole and lightly pressed over the chicken composition, then cover with the rest of the mixture. Cut the bacon slices in half and put them on top.

Place the tray in the preheated oven for about 35 minutes or until browned at medium temperature.

Allow to cool, then remove from the pan and cut into slices.

Good appetite!

Chicken liver

Drobul is a traditional dish that is not missing from us on the Easter table, sometimes I also prepare it during the year, because we really like it. It is preferable to prepare it in the spring, because its composition includes many greens. This chicken liver it is a successful alternative, I say, to lamb chops, even the taste is very similar. The recipe is quite well known and with good chances of success.

I invite you to read it and of course to try it. :)

Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice.

Peel the white onion, cut it into cubes and cook.

Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice.

Separately heat the minced chicken.

The chicken liver is removed from the water, and after it cools, it is finely chopped or cooked.

Add the hardened onion mixture to the liver, over which we add the hardened meat.

Add the cleaned and chopped dill, along with 8 eggs. Season with salt and pepper and mix everything well.

We beat an egg, we put it in a tray.

Put the mixture for the drob in the tray.

Above the liver, add another beaten egg and spread it by hand over the entire surface.

Put the tray in the preheated oven and leave it for about 45 minutes, first on high heat then lower. It is ready after the middle is no longer playing.

1. Wash the livers, pipettes and hearts well and boil them. You probably know that the liver boils faster so we boil it separately. While? Until the fork easily enters him / her :)

2. After they have boiled, strain them and chop them finely with a knife. Do not make the mistake of chopping them with a blender because it results in a paste similar to pate.

Cut the onion and garlic into slices and heat them a little in lard, just enough to soften. It is preferable to use lard if you have because it gives a special taste to the liver.

Chop the parsley and small dill.

In a bowl put the finely chopped organs, greens, raw eggs, breadcrumbs and mix gently until smooth. Be careful not to crush the liver too much.

Season with salt and pepper and then put the dough in a cake tin lined with baking paper. You can also put hard boiled eggs for a more beautiful look, but I like it so classic because we eat it with red eggs anyway.

Bake for about 20 minutes at 175 degrees Celsius.

Let the chicken fillet cool well, then cut it into slices and serve.

It is delicious accompanied by cheese, green onions and, of course, red eggs :).

How to serve chicken liver drob

As a way to serve, I like to serve the delicious cold chicken fillet, as a main course, preferably accompanied by beef salad, a must-have combination in my family, at the Easter table! There are many ways you can customize and modify this recipe to suit your tastes even better.

First, you can add to the composition of the stew and boiled chicken. You will pass the chicken through the mincer together with the other organs, so that the mixture becomes homogeneous. Chicken is a valuable addition from a nutritional point of view.

Also, when it comes to greens, you can also add green garlic to this recipe and it will become even tastier! A clove of garlic can bring a much too intense taste, which captures the other flavors, that's why green garlic seems to me the perfect choice for chicken liver.

Raw eggs are used to bind the composition. Some people prefer that the chicken organs not be given through the mincer, but prefer that the ingredients be finely chopped with a knife. This gives the skin a special texture, a special consistency.

If you follow a strict diet, it is best to avoid adding boiled eggs to the liver, as this will increase the percentage of cholesterol in the preparation.

I hope you enjoy this recipe on the eve of the holidays or whenever you want to prepare it. It is a simple recipe, easy to prepare, but a bit meticulous due to the complex preparation process of the mixture. But do not be discouraged because the recipe is very easy to prepare and the final result will certainly not disappoint.

  • The result, that is, the chicken drumstick, should look like a cake that is crushed with a fork, but not from the cut.
  • If you want an even fluffier consistency, you can add a few pieces of butter over the consistency to put in the oven.
  • The chicken drumstick can get an attractive crust if you grease it with a mixture of two or three beaten raw eggs before placing the tray in the oven.
  • Instead of allspice, you can use marjoram.
  • Hearts and pipettes can be replaced with chicken breast, which is also prepared by boiling.

Suitable gaskets

  • Tzatziki salad (mixture of yogurt, cream, chopped cucumber, minced garlic, salt and pepper)
  • Cheese and green onions
  • Fresh vegetables.

If you like it, share it with your friends!

Ingredient:

For the drob composition:
1kg chicken liver
1kg boneless chicken upper legs
500g mushrooms
20 green onion threads (mine were no smaller)
2 medium dried onions
1 large red bell pepper
4 husband eggs
1 large bunch of green parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
Hardening oil
Butter as a nut and flour for the tray

To grease the top:
1 or
1 tablespoon breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon oil

Method of preparation:
We clean and wash the livers well, after which we drain them.

We wash the chicken meat and drain it in a strainer.

We take a pan, we put the chicken meat in it, we add enough water to cover it well, we salt and let it boil for 15-20 minutes.

After 15-20 minutes, add the liver, over the chicken and let it boil for another 10-15 minutes. Be careful not to boil the liver with the cup, because the liver has a shorter cooking time, and if we prolong it, it will harden.

After the meat and liver have boiled enough, we take them out in a strainer and let them cool a little.

Meanwhile, clean the dried onion, and fry it in a pan with a little oil.

Mushrooms, clean them, wash them well, cut them into cubes and put them in a frying pan with a little oil.

We clean the green onion strands, wash them well, then cut them into small slices.

We wash the pepper, remove the stalk and clean it of seeds, then cut it into cubes.

Wash the parsley link well, remove the stalks and chop it very finely.

We take a pan, put a little oil, add green onions and let it cook for 3-4 minutes.

Over the green onion, add the diced pepper, mix and let it cook for another 3-4 minutes.

After lightly sautéing the peppers and green onions, remove the pan from the heat, add the chopped green parsley and mix.

After we have everything ready, we start to prepare the composition for drob.
We put the liver, chicken and dried onions (ATTENTION, not green onions) in a food processor, broken into smaller pieces and mix them until we get almost a paste. If you don't have a robot, chop everything with a meat grinder.

Put the pasta obtained in a bowl, add over the hardened mushrooms, green onions, hot peppers and parsley, season with salt and pepper to taste and mix everything until smooth.

In the resulting composition add the 4 previously beaten eggs and mix again until you get a homogeneous composition of drob.

The drob composition was enough for me for 2 drobbs, one bigger and one smaller. Grease 2 cake trays with butter and cover them with flour, then put the composition of the drob in the trays, taking care to be thick, without gaps. Put the beans in the oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes in the preheated oven.

Meanwhile, prepare the composition with which we grease the liver. Put an egg in a bowl, add 1 tablespoon paprika, 1 tablespoon oil, 1 tablespoon breadcrumbs and mix everything until smooth.

After 25-30 minutes, take the drum out of the oven and grease it with the composition prepared before, using a brush, then put the drum back in the oven on a faster heat (but ATTENTION, under supervision) and leave it for another 10 minutes, until it catches a reddish crust on the surface.

After the dough is cooked, take it out of the oven and let it cool completely in the pan, do not remove it while it is hot from the pan because you risk it spreading. After it has cooled, take it out of the pan, cut it into slices and serve it with other goodies from the Easter table.

How do we prepare the best drob?

In addition to the entrails, we also need greens in this chicken liver. We can't make drob without green onions, parsley and dill. If you like, you can also add green garlic. It will give a pleasant garlic aroma without being too strong. Although I put the green onion, I also added the dried onion, which I hardened a little. This gives this chicken fillet a special sweetness and taste. Dad sometimes adds even a little leurda. Leurda is a wild garlic and is extremely healthy and tasty. You can put your favorite greens or the ones you have available.

You can grind the ingredients with a knife, as I did, or you can pass them through the mincer. I like this chicken fillet to have texture, so I use the knife. The composition obtained is mixed with raw eggs that will bind the liver. For the appearance, I added boiled eggs in the middle, but you can also omit them without any problems. Bake the dough at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes or until browned on top. Serve this cold drob as an appetizer for Easter meal, along with a little mustard. I am convinced that it will be to your taste. It's the best drob I've ever eaten! Try my recipe for mixed drob, successfully combine three types of meat!
