Today I had a craving for something sweet and I remembered the simplest recipe and I can say, hello !! There it is.

  • 4 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • a teaspoon of grated lemon peel
  • a little baking soda
  • apricot jam

RECIPE PREPARATION Apricot jam roll:

Beat the egg whites, add the sugar (preferably powdered sugar), the yolks, lemon peel, baking soda (can be quenched with a little vinegar) and flour, stirring gently.

Pour into a tray (greased or lined with baking paper) and put in the preheated oven. Leave for 15-20 minutes (depending on temperature) then remove and still hot, roll with the help of paper (if I put).

Unwrap, grease with jam and roll back. Sprinkle powdered sugar with a sieve, cut into 2 cm slices. and enjoy your meal!!

I started to prepare the raspberry jam roll quite often because it is made quite quickly. In addition, the recipe I use is very simple and is made from only 5 ingredients. Even if I don't spend too much time preparing the roll, its taste is delicious. I always use raspberry jam because it is fragrant and delicious, but you can use any other type of jam.

Ingredients needed for raspberry jam roll:

  • 6 eggs, 120 gr powdered sugar
  • 100 gr wheat flour, 1 glass of raspberry jam
  • A pinch of salt

How to prepare raspberry jam roll?

We will start by breaking the eggs and separating the egg whites from the yolks. Then beat the yolks with the sugar until you get a thick foam, then add the flour.

Using the mixer, beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt and add them to the bowl with the yolks and flour. Pour the dough obtained in a tray lined with baking paper. Put the tray in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 8 minutes.

Respecting the baking time, the dough will roll perfectly and will not crack. After removing the tray from the oven, let the top cool and grease it with raspberry jam (you can use any other type of jam, depending on your preferences). Roll out the dough while carefully removing the baking sheet.

We wrap the roll in food foil and put it in the fridge for a few hours. Before serving, sprinkle powdered sugar on top and only then cut the roll into slices. Have fun with your loved ones and increase your cooking!
