Crofne banatene

Crofne banatene

Ever since I saw this recipe on our site at Criss I really liked it and I always imagined how good they are. Last night my mother said she would eat some donuts, so I thought it was time to test the recipe today and when my mother comes home from work to satisfy her appetite. I think they are the greatest donuts I've ever served! Thanks a lot Criss for the recipe!

Preparation time: less than 120 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Banana cranberries:

In a bowl mix the sugar, yeast, 3-4 tablespoons of milk and leave for 10 minutes.

We sift the flour and put it in a bowl.

Add butter, egg yolks, yeast mixture, grated lemon and orange peel, vanilla bean sugar.

Mix lightly by hand, pour a little warm milk and knead until you get a non-sticky dough but easy to work.

We cover it and let it double in volume in a warm place.

Sprinkle the flour on the work table, spread a sheet of about 1 cm and cut the donuts (or other shapes) with the mouth of a glass.

We place them on a baking sheet and let them rise for another 30 minutes.

Heat more oil in a pan and brown the meatballs on both sides.

We take them out with a spatula in a bowl, powder them with sugar and they are ready to serve.

Absolutely delicious and super fluffy!
